Wide Selection of Roofing Options to Match Your Property Perfectly
Stapleton Roofing offers a selection of premium roofing options for both residential and commercial properties. We work with you to select the perfect system for you from among the following:
Pitched or Steep Slope Roofing
Steep sloped roofs offer dramatic depth and shadows that add style to any Arizona home. Choose from a wide variety of composition (asphalt) shingles and clay or concrete tiles made by some of the most trusted, quality manufacturers in the market. Metal roofs are more common in colder climates, but are becoming more popular in the Phoenix area as well.
Composition shingles are the most popular and cost-effective roofing material on the market today, used on an overwhelming number of homes across the United States. Stapleton Roofing offers high-quality composition roofing products from industry leading manufacturers such as CertainTeed® and Tamko®.
Durable and affordable, composition shingles are available in multiple styles and colors that create varying degrees of texture and depth and increased resilience against high winds and other elements. We offer the best roofing service to our clients throughout Phoenix and Maricopa County.
There are many types of tile roof systems; concrete tile, clay tile, and sand cast tile. Tile roofs are commonly used in new construction throughout the Phoenix area, but it takes experts like Stapleton Roofing to get things done right.
During the construction of your home, the underlayment (felt paper) is exposed to UV rays, weather and foot traffic for a long period before the tile is placed on the roof. If your home was built prior to 2006, the builder used either 30lb or 40lb felt. This felt paper is known to dry out and curl up and needs to be replaced in 15-20 years.
Since that time, new and improved underlayment has been developed, which is designed to last 50 years–and that’s exactly what Stapleton Roofing brings you.
Moreover, pitched roofs are not designed to be waterproof, only water resistant and are dependent on the integrity of the underlayment beneath them, which cannot be seen without removing the tile. We call this type of project an R&R, or remove and replace. Stapleton Roofing can build you a complete new roof in no time at all.
There are various metal materials used, however, the Standing Seam Metal product is more common and comes in rolled form and in various widths. The material is “seamed” together using a special seaming tool that is run vertically up the panel to seal the joints and prevent water intrusion.
Flat or Low Slope Roofing
Low slope (or “flat”) roofing technology has come a long way in the past decade. Today, there are several economical and durable solutions that not only help reduce home energy costs, but also provide a virtually maintenance-free solution.
When installed correctly, this type of roof offers great insulation and waterproofing.
